November Favorites

I’m a day late with this post but nevertheless I wanted to share with you my favorite beauty products of this past month. I don’t have a ton of items this time around but all of these are products that knocked my socks off. For a change, the majority of my list are drugstore brands. The last couple of years I’ve transitioned from drugstore to department store products so it’s always great to find drugstore products that I really like.

November Favorites

L’Oréal Prefect Match Powder in Golden Beige (similar here) – 9 g / 0.3 oz

You might remember this product from my last beauty hauls post. I got it in Germany when my suitcase was delayed for two days. It’s a nice finishing powder. Sometimes foundation can make my skin look a little flat. With a light dusting this powder gives me a bit of color. Applied with a more heavy hand I can even use it as a bronzer. Now that my skin is starting to get its winter-fair color this powder is a good way to warm it up a bit.

Jergens Shea Butter Deep-Conditioning Moisturizer – 21 fl oz, $4.99

I used the coupon I mentioned in my last empties post to buy a full size of this lotion. I just love the smell. It has a thick consistency but at the same time absorb very well. This is a great winter body lotion.

Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Super Strawberry – 0.1 oz, $17

This has been my go-to lipstick this month. It gives me a my-lips-but-better look that I love. It has just a slight sheen without being sticky. The wear time isn’t the greatest but it fades very evenly.

L’Oréal EverCrème Intense Nourishing Shampoo – 8.5 oz, $5.99

Another item that I got in Germany while I was waiting for my suitcase. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take it with me when I came back to the US because I was reaching the weight limit on my suitcase. I liked this shampoo so much that I had to go to Target immediately and buy another one. It’s very rich and nourishing, lathers extremely well for being sulfate-free, and smells amazing. This is quickly becoming a staple in my hair care routine.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief – 1.7 oz, $37

Lately, my skin has been going haywire. I’m not sure if it’s the cold weather, stress, or the fact that I’ve been experimenting with different skin care products. I decided to go back to the roots and use Clinique Moisture Surge as my moisturizer. I’ve used it for years and it’s always worked really well for me. Luckily, since I started using it my skin has cleared up and is now looking much better. This is one of those products that I can always count on. I only wish it had SPF.

This was a pretty short list but I can highly recommend all the products on it. I’m really happy about my drugstore finds and I rediscovered some old favorites so I’d say that this month was a success.
