September Favorites

It’s the last day of September so you know what that means: favorites time! Here are the products that I loved this month:

September Favorites

Smashbox – Photo Finish Hydrating Primer – 1 oz, $42

I’ve used this primer ever since I exchanged my old Smashbox Blemish Control primer for it and I’ve been really liking it. The consistency is between a moisturizer and a primer which makes it very hydrating. It feels light, absorbs well but at the same time does a good job at being a primer, just like other Smashbox products. My foundation goes on smoothly on top of it and lasts all day. Overall it’s very similar to the Blemish Control primer but just a tad more moisturizing.

Murad – Essential-C Night Moisture – 1.7 fl oz, $63

I ordered this night cream earlier this month and it’s become a staple in my night time beauty routine. It’s very nourishing and makes my skin feel smooth and firm. It doesn’t absorb straight away which is alright because I feel like it does some work overnight. At the same time it doesn’t make my skin oily and hasn’t caused any breakouts.

Yes to Blueberries – Cleansing Facial Towelettes – 25 ct, $5.99

I already wrote a review about these makeup remover wipes and I’m still loving them. I’m definitely plan on repurchasing them once I run out.

Dove – Go Fresh Restore Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant – 2.6 oz, $4.19

The Dove Go Fresh line is my go-to deodorant brand. Every once in a while I stray but I always regret it. This deodorant does a great job as an anti-perspirant and makes me feel fresh all day. The scent lasts as well. Speaking of the scent, Restore is the newcomer of the line and smells of blue fig and orange blossom. Simply divine.

Living Proof – Prime Style Extender – 5 oz, $20

I received this product in the Limited Edition Birchbox for CEW – Prestige Headliners. I’ve been using it in conjunction with the Living Proof Full products I got in my last Ulta order and it’s been great at extending the lifetime of my hairstyle and preventing my roots from getting as greasy on day two.

Marc Jacobs – Daisy Eau So Fresh – 2.5 oz, $85

This is one of the samples that I received with my last Sephora order and I really love the smell – very fruity and floral. It reminds me of springtime which is a bit unfortunate since we’re enjoying the last warm days right now. I will definitely keep this one on my list and would consider getting a full size next spring.

Living Proof – Full Thickening Cream – 1.8 oz, $15

I got this styling treatment as part of the Living Proof Full Travel Set and have been using it together with the rest of the products in the set. It does a great job at giving my fine hair texture and body. The added volume lasts for the two days I usually go between washes which is a miracle because normally it lies flat within the hour.

Benefit Cosmetics – Rockateur – 0.17 oz, $28

This blush is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It’s the right shade between peach and pink that makes it very flattering. I can wear it with many different shades of lipstick without colors clashing. The color payoff is also pretty good.

Sephora by OPI – Metro Chic – 0.5 oz, 3 for $10 (full prize: $9)

Of all the nail polishes I ordered this month, this has been my favorite. I just love the color. You can read my raving review about it here.

eos – Blueberry Acai Lip Balm – 0.25 oz, $2.99

Since blueberries are my favorite I’ve been using this lip balm ever since I got it. It just smells (and tastes) so darn good.
